Summary

cometonwa.com is an independent guide to relocating to Northwest Arkansas, operated by Kool Krowd Ventures. We collect very little information. What we do collect is listed below in plain English.

This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to get it removed. If you have questions, email the address listed at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

We collect three categories of information, each limited to what the site needs to work.

• Email address, if you subscribe to the NWA Digest newsletter. Nothing else. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or location.
• Aggregate traffic data through a web analytics tool. This includes the pages you viewed, the city or region you connected from (not your exact address), your browser, and how long you stayed. We cannot identify individual visitors from this data.
• Basic server logs, which are standard for every website on the internet. These include the IP address your device used to connect, the time of your visit, and the pages you requested. They are kept for up to thirty days and are not linked to any identity.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, income, employment, credit information, or any other personal detail unless you voluntarily send it to us in an email.

We do not sell or share your email with any third party, ever.

We do not use invasive tracking like Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or cross-site fingerprinting.

Cookies

cometonwa.com uses a small number of functional cookies, primarily from our analytics tool. These help us count visitors accurately across sessions. No marketing or advertising cookies are set by this site directly.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to read the site.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links on this site go to third-party services such as moving companies, lenders, or real-estate tools. If you click through and make a purchase or complete a form, we may earn a commission. See the Disclosures page for the full list of affiliate relationships.

When you click through to a third-party site, that site has its own privacy policy. We have no control over, and no responsibility for, how those sites handle your information.

How we use the email you give us

If you subscribe to the NWA Digest newsletter, we use your email address for one purpose: to send you the newsletter. You will not receive anything from us that you did not sign up for.

Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you from the list. We do not require a reason.

If you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our active list within seven days. We retain an internal record that you unsubscribed, so that we never accidentally re-add you, but we do not use that record for any other purpose.

Where data is stored

Subscriber emails are stored in a spreadsheet operated by a third-party workflow tool and backed up to cloud storage. Analytics data is stored by the analytics provider.

All storage is located in the United States. By using this site you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. If you are a resident of California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights, those rights apply in full.

To exercise any of these rights, email the address at the bottom of this page. We respond to all such requests within thirty days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will remove it immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new updated date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
